A walk in the park

One of my daily rituals is running.  The weather here provides an amazing setting for my excursions and even going into winter, warm days like today pop up as a welcomed surprise.  I decided to take my leopard booties out for a stroll.

The beautiful warm day further inspired my jewelery selection.  Gemma Redux’s Jac Necklace is like a burst of sunshine.  Her pieces are amazing and continue to be some of my favorite jewels!

Falling for DVF

Technically Sydney is smack dab in the middle of Autumn….which I have yet to accept.  Traveling between two continents can be challenging when it comes to my wardrobe.  During my flurry of wedding planning while overseas, I still seemed to find time for much needed retail therapy at my favorite local boutique, Gena Chandler.  The girls here are so sweet and the selection of DVF, among the many other amazing labels, is fabulous!

Brainstorming

Over the weekend my hubby and I decided it’s time to redo our apartment.  First on the list, our bedroom-which is in desperate need of a makeover.  Think blank canvas.  After a trip to the hardware store and lots of compromise, I’m ready to unleash my creativity.  I realized I gravitate towards the same colors and patterns in fabric and home stores as I do in my wardrobe.  Amazing accessories and unexpected colors inspire me and  I can’t wait to do the same for our bedroom.  Stay tuned for updates!

Bush walking

I am definitely a “city mouse” by birth and preference; however, living in Australia, an afternoon drive through the “bush” tends to pop up in my weekend plans from time to time.  The winding mountain roads on these adventures are a favorite of my husbands and provide amazing scenery.  My hot pink pants seemed to brighten the day as well as add a little glamor to my outback trip.

A floral affair

I’ve been inspired by the recent flurry of florals, everywhere from the runway to my afternoon run.  The vibrant colors mixed with an unexpected animal print makes for a cheeky twist on an unlikely pairing.
