I can never resist stripes of any kind. They are neutral, timeless and just make me happy. When I spotted this dress, I was drawn to the classic stripe mixed with the asymmetrical hemline. This simple detail elevates the basic stripe shift to something amazing. Paired with a leather jacket and ankle boots will easily transition my stripes in to Fall.

Some of my favorite events are the one’s where I can dress to the nines. Fancy dresses and sparkly heels definitely make a girl feel special, but sometimes a tee and jeans feels just as glamorous. I love taking a classic black and white graphic tee (especially one with attitude) and pairing it with an over-sized blazer and bright heels. It’s an easy twist that elevates the unassuming jeans and tee.

Equipment is one of my favorite brands. Their well known silk shirts are sophisticated and fun and each season, I cannot resist adding as least one of their happy prints to my closet. My stars have been on high rotation during the Summer/Fall transition and are a cool alternative to basic white. Paired with pops of red or combined with military green and rust for the cooler months, seeing stars is always welcomed.
