My work week is usually hectic, but this past month was off the charts insane. I always look forward to the weekends, like most people do, and capitalize on every minute of my Saturday morning coffees and Sunday strolls and brunch. This weekend had to be zen, and what better way to fully relax than ditching the schedule and getting lost in Central Park.

Having always loved my denim, I’m a sucker for a good double dose of it. When I stumbled upon these vintage, distressed gems in Sydney a few years ago (and paid 20 dollars-score), I knew they would join my collection. Natural or man-made, a good pair of cutoffs are essential for warmer weather-and I personally believe, make any Summer more fabulous!

Now that Spring is finally upon us, pastels and lighter versions of Winter’s color counterparts are popping up everywhere. One piece of clothing I could not live without is my denim jacket. Admittedly, I have about 5 in my closet in various shades of blue, but all on the darker side. My go to has been a beloved one I’ve had for years – and has the tatters to prove it. The fit is immaculate and it just works. When I stumbled upon it’s lighter equivalent (minus the holes) I was in love. The particular shade of blue is amazing and already feel the heaviness starting to melt away.

Camo is one of those prints that rotates into fashion over and over again. At first, I was a bit hesitant considering I had seen some interpretations that were a bit to literal. However; I quickly came around with Rag & Bone’s version. I love the subtle nod, versus full on military style, and of course hot pink was my natural choice to add the perfect girly pop.
Given that I am just over 5’1, I will always gravitate towards the highest heel I can find. The smallest heel in my closet is 4 inches…..until I moved to Sydney. Just like NYC, DC and any other large city, Sydney is best explored on foot….and those feet must be stylish. I hesitantly set out on my first “flats” shopping trip and was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of amazing options. I just couldn’t resist these speckled Chuck Taylors.
