Ready, set, shop!!! I love this time of year when the opportunity presents itself to pick up an investment piece at a fraction of the cost. These are my top picks currently on sale, if you’re in the mood to add a coveted piece to your closet.
1. Fendi clutch // 2. Valentino bucket bag (love this color here) // 3. Clare V. fold over // 4. Saint Laurent chevron pouch // 5. Saint Laurent sac du jour // 6. Alexander Wang crosbody // 7. Gucci Soho bag // 8. Valentino rockstud crossbody // 9. YSL camera bag
Saturday was the first time it seemed like every tree and flower was finally in bloom, which made for a beautiful weekend stroll. I always find stripes and an easy wedge are a perfect Spring uniform. As a twist, I loved the contrasting leopard scarf. Of course my bucket bag is always a good idea!

One of my best investment piece decisions was made several years ago in Fendi. I am a sucker for leopard, and the Fendi interpretation was a belt I knew I would have for years. I consider most animal prints neutrals and this piece was no exception. Blazers, coats and over-sized dresses all cinch together perfectly. It was definitely a splurge as far as belts go, but continues to be one of my most loved accessories.
Sleeveless blazer: Laveer-sold out (similar here & here), Jeans: Rag & Bone, Belt: Fendi (similar here & here), Shoes: Christian Louboutin (similar here), Clutch: Sophie Hulme, Sunnies: Barton Perreira, Bracelet: Bauble Bop.
Tweed and leopard are two of my favorite partners in crime. Although both can stand on their own, together they pack a punch that I absolutely love. Pairing the jacket with lighter denim for Spring gave it a fresh feel and instantly created a look I love.
Jacket: Of Two Minds (similar here & here), Jeans: J Brand (also love these), Belt: Fendi (similar here), Shoes: Christian Louboutin, Top: Zara-old (similar here), Necklace: Gemma Redux, Sunnies: Ray-Ban, Clutch: Proenza Schouler.
Each season, there are trends and must have items that flood the runways and fashion forecasts. I love seeing all the translations of the “it” color, pattern or material. For me, a few key statement pieces are essential to my wardrobe and this year I immediately became obsessed with Elizabeth and James Inkwash blazer. I knew the fit and tailoring of this piece would be spot on, but the print is insane. I love the color palate and the uniqueness of cooler shades. This one will definitely be on high rotation!
Blazer: Elizabeth and James (also here), Jeans: Rag & Bone, Top: Equipment (also here), Shoes: Jimmy Choo, Sunnies: Ray-Ban, Clutch: Fendi, Lips: MAC is Snob, Necklace: Sydney markets (similar here).
Since meeting my husband, I have grown to love travel. He is a travel bug, whereas (I hate to admit) I really had not left the country until we met. At first I was just intrigued, but once I had a few trips under my belt, I was hooked (along with the discovery of Xanex for the lengthy flights!)
The merge of culture and fashion always result in some of the most amazing creations. The owners of Theodora & Callum epitomize this theory through their beyond gorgeous scarves. Each print is reminiscent of a fabulous place that has inspired the designers and really captures the location’s essence through fashion.
With it’s abundance of volcanoes and a warm tropical climate, Java’s namesake scarf fits the island to a tee!
Scarf: Theodora & Callum, Dress: Cotton on-old (similar here), Belt: Fendi (similar here), Necklace (similar here), Sunnies: Ray-Ban, Shoes: Steve Madden-old (similar here & here), Rings: Iosselliani (here & here), Bracelets: Sydney Markets, Nails: OPI “kiss of the chic”
The pencil skirt is one of those key pieces that is always in fashion and seems to re-invent itself each season. A fabulous print can be an amazing statement or even a bold color can instantly update this basic. I love the soft peach and subtle peplum of this skirt. The animal accessories update this lady like look and give it and edgy twist.
