Ever since our trip to Paris, I’ve been obsessed with stripes. Admittedly, I already had a fairly large section dedicated to them in my closet, but I can’t help adding new pieces, as they are a perfect neutral without being boring. There’s something so classic yet so versatile about stripes. They can take on an entirely new life paired with leather and ripped jeans vs. a girly skirt and sweet flats. Sunday felt like a stripe kinda day.

The New Year is officially in full swing in our house. We have a new furry house guest, a furniture refresh and a new 2015 travel schedule. My birthday also happens to be looming at the end of the week-which I promptly began celebrating early when my new python goodie turned up in the mail. 🙂 During the gloomy and cold weekend, I decided to throw on my chunkiest knit and take my new accessory out for a bit of decorating inspiration along with some light wardrobe shopping for my new furry baby.

I got my first taste of a true Winter yesterday when we saw our first snow flurries in NYC. The Aussie seasons really consisted of varying warm temperatures throughout the year, which is a luxury if you hate the cold, but I have to admit I’ve missed snuggling up in my favorite cold weather gear. My scarf obsession resurfaced when I found that my all time favorite cashmere sweater was the perfect mate to yet another Theodora & Callum work of art.
Bring on the Brrrr!
