I’ve been indulging my girly side in anticipation to my first trip to Paris in June. I knew I needed this little lacy piece in any country and can’t wait to pair it with a macaron during my upcoming trip. With Summer starting to heat up in NYC, I decided chambray shorts and my new chop were the perfect partners in crime over the weekend.

I have always been fascinated by the places I travel and the local street fashion that I observe. It’s amazing inspiration and a fresh take on what I usually gravitate towards. Chinatown, in any city-especially Sydney, is always a must for me. The food is amazing and the stores could occupy me for days, but nothing is better than finding a cozy spot to people watch. The street style is unbelievable. These girls are literally working every trend and sometimes all at once….and it’s fabulous! However; I have come to learn, just because they look uber chic, doesn’t necessarily always translate for me. I like choose one or two trends and rework them to suit my style.
Year round, knee high socks and sheer tights can always be seen wandering around Chinatown. I love the look and decided to add my own style to the trend.
