Matcha shot at Chalait NYC

With sale season well underway, it’s a fantastic time to snap up investment shoes at a steal. Most of the majors (Barneys, Nordstrom, Saks and Bergdorf) have marked down stock 30-45%. Time to snag some goodies before they’re all gone!

Equipment is one of my favorite brands. Their well known silk shirts are sophisticated and fun and each season, I cannot resist adding as least one of their happy prints to my closet. My stars have been on high rotation during the Summer/Fall transition and are a cool alternative to basic white. Paired with pops of red or combined with military green and rust for the cooler months, seeing stars is always welcomed.
Anyone knows, two of my major weaknesses are bags and shoes. I have literally paired a 10 dollar dress with some killer heels and amazing accessories and all of a sudden, my outfit is instantly elevated. Bright shoes are a staple for me, not only during the obvious warmer months, but also throughout the Winter. I instantly fell in love with these coral Manolo’s and treat them with care as suede is always delicate. As a sharp contrast to the happiness on my feet, I went for the tough exterior of Balenciaga. Two opposing vibes that seem to always make sense.
With Valentine’s Day approaching, I usually hate being a cliche and wearing red or pink, unless it’s a small pop of the color. All that goes out the window when I spot anything in one of my favorite colors: Poppy red. I typically gravitate towards neutrals in sweaters, but the color just makes you want to smile, even if you’re having a terrible day. I love the billowy sleeve on this cropped sweater and the cozy knit is perfect for the lingering snow we still seem to be getting in NYC.
