Over the weekend, I decided to continue a new obsession of mine…matcha. This super tea was first introduced to me years ago, but I really gained an appreciation for it when we went to Japan. Matcha straight from the source is like nothing else and the vibrant green color is mesmerizing.
With a weekly trip to Tokyo out, I searched for the best matcha spots locally. Matcha Bar, in Brooklyn is my top pic. These guys are the real deal, taking trips and sourcing their match directly from Japan. In West Village I found Chalait, complete with some of the best avo toast in the city. The iced matcha latte with almond milk is delish.
With at least 5 more locations still on my list, I will happily continue the matcha hunt 🙂

For what feels like the 100th time this year, NYC found itself dusted in snow. Having now been here for 6 months, I’ve observed that layering and a fabulous long coat is the only way to go when it’s this cold. (It’s also a fantastic alternative to the Michelin man look) 🙂
A leopard coat is always a good idea-or leopard in general for that matter. Definitely a fan of SEA’s interpretation.

Camo is one of those prints that rotates into fashion over and over again. At first, I was a bit hesitant considering I had seen some interpretations that were a bit to literal. However; I quickly came around with Rag & Bone’s version. I love the subtle nod, versus full on military style, and of course hot pink was my natural choice to add the perfect girly pop.

I love a good pair of distressed denim and Rag & Bone are some of the most luxurious. Every rip and shred are perfectly placed, but feel and look as if they have been your favorite pair of denim for ages, ultimately giving into repeated wear. The slight slouch factor is just an added bonus for me. Definitely the perfect warm weather sibling of the much loved boyfriend jean.

After 7 years in one of the most amazing cities in the world, I am ecstatic to share we are packing our bags in Sydney to move to yet another iconic city…..New York! Embarking on a new adventure is always daunting, but I’m so excited and ready for the challenge.
With about a week to go, I plan on soaking up as much of Sydney as I can before we leave, assuming the packing doesn’t give me a nervous break down 🙂 We’ll be touching down June 13th and with this comes new locations, ideas and collaborations for Wishbone. I can’t wait to share the exciting time ahead!

Today started out amazingly sunny and beautiful, but quickly turned stormy and wet. On days like this, my hair often lashes out at me. I find the best antidote to this is a fabulous hat and Rag & Bone’s floppy version of the fedora is my new favorite accessory. I chose the caramel version as a perfect neutral for rainy days.
